Childcare Supervision Form
In order to ensure that our Key Worker Child Supervision Programme is staffed adequately we require you to register using a form.
Please also note that if you don't complete register, we will not be able to provide for your child because we won't necessarily have the staffing arrangements in place to do so.
The categories of children who can access this service are:
1. Children of those that need to go to work who are not otherwise able to make suitable childcare provision without involving relatives over the age of 70 years;
2. Children attending St Martin’s who have not been notified by the GHA that they should not attend school;
3. Children not falling within one of the above categories where there are special circumstances requiring attendance at school and where this is approved by the Director of Education.
You should note that children who do not fall within any of the above categories must not be taken to school. This would amount to a breach of the Regulations for which sanctions are available.
Please complete this form ONCE FOR EACH CHILD* you would like to enrol in the programme for the week commencing 29th June 2020 and 6th July. (* if you have 3 children, you need to submit 3 forms)
Registration for the week commencing 29th June 2020 and 6th July 2020 is now open.
The registration form for the week of the 22nd of June is closed. Should you require urgent supervision for the week of the 16th June, please email covid@education.gov.gi with the details of your circumstances, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Do not send your children to a childcare facility until you are contacted by the Department of Education.
IF YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN ATTENDING OUR FACILITIES AT NOTRE DAME, ST ANNE'S OR WESTSIDE PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Weekend and extended hours supervision has now ceased.
Creche supervision for children who are not enrolled in government schools has also ceased.
As from Tuesday 26th May, only children enrolled in government schools have been able to access the childcare facilities on offer. We will continue to send you forms on a weekly basis so that we can continue to staff our facilities adequately.
Children will be expected to attend the school facility they usually access when schools are open.
Please note the following opening and closing times:
LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Childcare Supervision Facilities open at 08:30 and close at 12:00.
UPPER PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Childcare Supervision Facilities open at 08:30 and close at 12:30.
SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Childcare Supervision Facilities open at 08:30 and close at 12:45.
